Keith Prowse is proud to announce Access Sport as a national sports charity partner. This impactful collaboration will support inclusive community sports initiatives, transforming the lives of disabled and disadvantaged young people across the UK.
As part of the partnership, Keith Prowse will share the organisation’s resources and offer value-in-kind support so Access Sport can continue to grow and change even more lives. This new commitment underscores Keith Prowse’s dedication to driving positive change in the sporting arena.
With over 20 years of experience, Access Sport is a national sport inclusion charity that works tirelessly to equip community sports clubs, organisations and volunteers with the tools and training they need to provide inclusive sports opportunities. With only 47% of young people currently meeting the Chief Medical Officers’ Physical Activity Guidelines, the charity’s work is more vital than ever. By fostering inclusivity, Access Sport opens the door for disabled and disadvantaged young people to experience the life-changing benefits of sport.
From cycling and climbing to rugby league, Access Sport operates across a broad spectrum of sports. The organisation not only champions inclusivity but also addresses the root causes of exclusion in the sports sector, ensuring long-lasting change.
The partnership with Access Sport reflects Keith Prowse’s deep commitment to ensuring their sporting events and experiences have a positive, lasting impact on everything they touch.
Beyond value-in-kind support, Keith Prowse’s staff will play an active role in the partnership by volunteering their time at Access Sport’s events and programmes. This hands-on engagement will allow Keith Prowse’s team to support Access Sport’s nationwide initiatives and connect directly with young people in local communities.
Samantha Coates, Marketing Director at Keith Prowse said:
“This partnership with Access Sport is a true reflection of Keith Prowse core belief: that sport has an unparalleled power to transform lives. As market leaders in the premium experience market, we and our guests are privileged to witness the pinnacle of athletic achievement, but the starting point for most athletes, regardless of their background or ability, starts at a community level. Every young person should have the opportunity to experience the profound joy, the benefits and indeed the pathway to excellence that sport offers. We’re proud to support their work and excited to get involved on the ground.”
Helen Rowbotham, Chief Executive at Access Sport added:
“We are excited to launch our new partnership with Keith Prowse. Like us, Keith Prowse knows the power of sport to have a positive impact on people’s lives. By joining forces, I’m confident we can reach more disabled and disadvantaged young people, giving them access to all the amazing benefits of community sport. I’m also really looking forward to seeing Keith Prowse staff getting out there and volunteering at the community clubs we support across the country. We can’t wait to get started! Thank you for choosing Access Sport.”
