Here at Keith Prowse, we can’t wait for The Championships, Wimbledon in 2022 for many reasons. This year will mark 100 years of Centre Court, it’s the first year that play is scheduled on the middle Sunday of the tournament in The Championship’s history, and we have a brand-new hospitality experience launching at the event!
With just a few months to go until The Championships is upon us, we decided to take a closer look at our brand-new offering, The Treehouse, and the delicious menu on offer for guests to enjoy.
Wimbledon is synonymous with sophistication, elegance and its rich British heritage. The Treehouse menu encompasses all these elements while taking a contemporary approach. A day at Wimbledon should not only be about the tennis, but the holistic experience from the moment you arrive, from the food you eat throughout the day to the ease of getting to your match seats and the customer service you receive.
2 Michelin Star chef Tom Sellers and Chef Patron of Restaurant Story is our chef inside this vibrant, atmospheric and evolutionary space that is The Treehouse. Tom champions everything British and he gets his inspiration from the weather, the seasons, colours and the team that he works alongside in his restaurant. Cooking with fresh, British produce and working with local farmers and growers is something that makes Tom’s food even more special and fitting at The Championships. The food in this space will reflect exactly that.
We have worked alongside Tom to devise an innovative, unique, and informal menu, where he will serve progressive and fun food that takes a modern twist on traditional dishes to reflect the nature of the space that surrounds. Tom will present all dishes in a way that is evolutionary and creative to enhance the culinary experience.
Food will be served on small roaming plates to enhance the sociable and relaxed experience that makes The Treehouse so distinctive. Live cooking stations will feature at either end of the space in birdcages, so guests can watch their dishes come to life. This dining experience will allow guests to enjoy the food at their leisure whenever they wish, so they can make the most all of the action on and off the court.
