Nations is coming to the Home of England Rugby – Twickenham Stadium, in what is set to be an epic head-to-head battle. England’s beloved Red Roses are set to take on France on Saturday, 29 April 2023 in what could once again be the grand slam decider.
The Red Roses have been in fine form winning the Six Nations four times in-a-row and being widely considered the best Women’s rugby team in the world. Currently ranked No.1 in the world, the 2022 TikTok Women’s Six Nations saw England win the grand slam with a massive 260 points difference – making them officially the most successful side in the tournament’s history.
The Red Roses: a dominant force in world rugby
The Red Roses are a force to be reckoned with within the rugby world, having not lost a match in the last 32 games they have played. Their winning streak is one of the longest in the sport’s history, and they are now only one game short of the most consecutive international wins across all forms of rugby.
The team are particularly well known for their kicking ability and tactics - Zoe Harrison’s ability to kick long distances is unmatched in the sport, continually taking opposing teams (and her teammates for that matter) by surprise. The only team who seems to even get close to this level of kicking skill is France - making next April’s game particularly interesting tactical battle.
