It’s exciting, innovative and the world’s newest tennis league, which plays a reinvented format of the game. The Grand Final showdown will take place from 15 to 17 December 2023 at ExCeL London.
The Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) was founded by Patrick Mouratoglou who coached Serena Williams, one of the best female tennis players of all time, and currently coaches 2-time Grand Slam champion Simona Halep and Danish player Holger Rune, alongside mentoring players including Coco Gauff and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
What are the rules of UTS?
-40-minute intense matches of 8-minute quarters
-Simplified scoring: 1 point won = 1 point earned
-A lighter code of conduct
-Fast and furious rules to boost intensity
-Decisive points and sudden deaths
-Hear the players and coaches talking tactics as they’re mic’d up
-Live interviews in-between quarters to give fans insights into what’s going through players’ heads
-No more limitations for the crowd!
Player’s true personalities will shine through as they carry themselves more freely, making it more of a playful atmosphere for fans to immerse themselves in and watch.
The UTS Tennis Line-Up
World-famous stars who have played in the event include Matteo Berrettini, Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev, and the Grand Final line-up does not disappoint - London is in for a treat!
The line-up for the 2023 Grand Final at ExCeL London - many of whom sit within the ATP top 10 - is as follows:
