How to get the most out of cricket hospitality

three minutes
When it comes to hospitality, Keith Prowse knows a thing or two about creating exceptional experiences that live long in the memory of our guests.

As Official Hospitality Partners of Edgbaston Stadium and The Kia Oval and as Official resellers at Lord’s, cricket experiences are pretty much our bread and butter, meaning you won’t find any better around.

So, you’ve purchased Official, all-inclusive cricket hospitality from KeithProwse.co.uk, but what next? How do you really make the most out of your experience – especially when taking clients with you?

Step 1: Plan the logistics as early as possible.
You want to ensure you have plenty of time to plan your travel and meeting times – this avoids any delays or confusion, especially if you’re meeting clients you might not have had much face-to-face time with before.

Step 2: Check the matchday itinerary.
We recommend you arrive as close to facility opening time as possible. This ensures you will get and consume your match day meals well before play starts or the slot allocation. This also means you won’t miss anything important, like Q&A’s or speaker talks.

Step 3: Do your research.
Make sure you go into the day with some clear objectives and takeaways. What do you want out of the experience? Do you want to build and strengthen relationships, do you want to talk about opportunities, or do you simply want to get to know your clients’ needs a little better?

Step 4: Don’t overdo it.
Now, as hospitality providers, we of course want you to make the most out of your experience in terms of food and drink, but we also recommend taking it a little easy on the old alcohol front. The last thing you want to do is overdo it - saying the wrong thing or acting inappropriately can have the opposite effect of what corporate hospitality is designed for. And, we wouldn’t want the experience to be counterproductive for any of our hosts.

Step 5: Enjoy it!
Now we know it sounds cliché, but when the hosts are relaxed, the clients are relaxed. Soak up all the atmosphere and remember – you’re probably watching some of the best players in the county, country and world compete!
