It has just been announced that Madison Keys and Naomi Osaka will be playing at the Rothesay International Eastbourne this summer at Devonshire Park!
Keys, currently world No.20 will be returning with the hope of maintaining her title she won in the 2023 edition of the tournament. Madison had a fantastic summer last year. Alongside winning at Devonshire Park, she reached the semi-finals of the US Open and quarterfinals at The Championships, Wimbledon. She will be sure to make her presence known this summer as she battles it out to earn her place in the final for another year.
The incredible and powerful Naomi Osaka is making her return to British tennis this summer too. After a five-year break from UK tennis, and a 15-month break from tennis where she welcomed her first child, there is no doubt that she will take the tournament by a storm.
Osaka is a four-time Grand Slam winning player, with two Australian Open and two US Open titles to her name and has already risen in the ranks this year. At the Qatar Open in February, she rose 461 places, making her world No.286. The only way is up for Osaka, and we will expect to see some incredible play from her this summer in Eastbourne.
