1967: The Roux brothers (Albert and Michel) open Le Gavroche in Chelsea, London – the only French restaurant of its kind in London
1974: Le Gavroche becomes the first restaurant in the UK to be awarded a Michelin Star
1977: The restaurant becomes the first British restaurant to be awarded 2 Michelin Stars
1979: Albert’s son, Michel Roux Jr, joins Le Gavroche as Commis de Cuisine

2011: Keith Prowse forms a partnership with Albert Roux OBE to run the then ‘Gatsby Club’ hospitality experience at The Championships, Wimbledon
2012: The Gatsby Club is extended, and the iconic ‘Plateau de Fruits de Mer’ is added to the menu
2016: Three generations of Roux’s (Albert, Michel Jr and daughter Emily) now working together at Wimbledon
2019: The Gatsby Club is rebranded as ‘The Lawn’, after winning multiple events and hospitality awards
2019: Keith Prowse becomes Wimbledon’s ‘Official Hospitality Partner’
Jan 2024: Le Gavroche holds its final service before permanently closing its Mayfair doors after 56 years of impeccable service
Feb 2024: 'Le Gavroche at The Lawn’ is launched in collaboration with Keith Prowse ahead of Wimbledon 2024
