Wimbledon 2024: Hospitality With Championship Status

five minutes
The Championships, Wimbledon served nothing but excellence on and off the court in 2024. One champion retained his title, another made history. From the outstanding tennis to the finest luxury hospitality delivered by the Experience Experts (aka Keith Prowse), it was another Grand Slam year to celebrate.

As the Official Hospitality Partner to The Championships, Wimbledon, we always aim to make our experiences world-class and set the bar high with our own service off the court. We’ve been providing hospitality at the event since 1982 - becoming the club’s Official Partner in 2019 – so we know a thing or two about how to do Wimbledon like a champion.

From sipping Pimm’s in an exclusive sun-soaked garden to tasting Michelin Star menus, our guests were calling it a “love-all” experience!

We probably have too many highlights to mention (we’d be here a while) so we’ve whittled it down to just a few:

• The launch of our brand-new collaborative experience with Michel Roux: Le Gavroche at The Lawn
• Seeing our talented chefs deliver unique and exceptional culinary experiences, innovating and somehow improving the menu year upon year
• Watching guests relax and enjoy their day with clients, family, partners and friends
• The incredible tennis on court, but of course the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Finals, where one champion retained his title, and a new one claimed the trophy!

Acing VIP Hospitality in SW19

Now let’s take a deeper dive into the hospitality at the All England Lawn Tennis Club this year, courtesy of us. Our experiences hit every sweet spot and our guests walked away from their day at Wimbledon with memories to last a lifetime. Let’s volley through the best bits from our VIP experiences; the smashing new additions, the beloved tennis details and so much more…

Le Gavroche at The Lawn

Keith Prowse launched a brand-new, premium and exclusive experience at this year’s Championships: Le Gavroche at The Lawn. This experience was designed in collaboration with the extraordinary 2 Michelin Star Chef, Michel Roux, and his iconic restaurant Le Gavroche. My goodness did it exceed expectations!

The Mayfair restaurant closed its doors in January 2024 after many years of service, so this was the perfect opportunity to bring it back for guests to enjoy at one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world. The exquisite tasting menu showcased exactly what the beloved restaurant encapsulated. The beautifully prepared dishes were paired with hand-selected fine wines showcasing unmatched attention to detail. And don’t worry - the famous Cheese Trolley did not get forgotten about!

With outstanding food, impeccable service and stylish interiors - guests were able to feel as if they were in the original restaurant itself! The glass wine frontage gave the wow-factor upon arrival and the historic artwork and artefacts from the restaurant and the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum’s archives were proudly on display. The restaurant’s iconic Sisters were also on hand to serve, ensuring only the best was delivered to the tables and an experience like no other was being enjoyed.

The Lawn

Our award-winning experience boasted elegance, Michelin Star food and great service once again. Guests were able to come and go from the tennis, sip bespoke cocktails in The Lawn Garden and absorb the ambiance and live music – the perfect mix of action and relaxation.

The Roux family (Michel and his daughter Emily Roux) deliver culinary excellence year upon year – and 2024 was no exception. From the beautiful starters, meticulously crafted main courses and summer deserts to the impressive and expansive seafood counter and traditional afternoon tea - that of course includes strawberries and cream - they really do know just how to impress. Guests were even able to chat with Michel throughout the day and give their compliments to the chef!

The Treehouse

The vibrant hang-out spot that is The Treehouse was the perfect base for our tennis-loving guests to be, boasting a mix of a flexible yet premium experience. The lively, modern and buzzing atmosphere that rings round the space makes it hard to leave – only the unmissable tennis could pull guests away!

Bright, lush, floral interiors make it feel like – you guessed it- you’re in an outdoor Treehouse, and with doors that expand out on to the balcony overlooking The Lawn Garden, it gives a true ‘outside-in’ feeling.

We had a few well-known faces in the Treehouse too. Former Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead joined Keith Prowse to sample the roaming food curated by 2 Michelin Star Tom Sellers, the lively atmosphere, DJ and of course the action on court. Ex-Love Islander and daughter of football star Michael Owen - Gemma Owen - was also in attendance with us as well as the legendary DJ and record producer, Carl Cox, who returned to the Treehouse for another year -he’s a big fan!

Rosewater Pavilion

Combine grass-court tennis, summer and elegance and you have our award-winning, quintessentially British Rosewater Pavilion. It’s a true celebration of gastronomy, sport and luxury. Located within the prestigious grounds of Wimbledon, it’s surrounded by the buzz that rings around the venue and immerses guests with a true tennis experience.

Glistening gold and green interiors, floral touches, beautifully landscaped gardens with growing strawberry plants and plush seating areas - the detail seriously shined though this year. One of our highlights include a meet and greet with former British No.1 Greg Rusedski, an authentic and exclusive element to make the day even more tennis-inspired!

Onto the food. The four-course á la carte menu exuded the taste of summer and tennis in an English garden. Seasonal British ingredients are integral to the menu and each element was meticulously prepared to elevate every dish to championship standard. Marcus Wareing took the baton in the kitchen for the final four days of the Championships, continuing to showcase the locally sourced, quality ingredients that he is so proud and passionate about to deliver guests with something incredibly special to dine on.

Skyview Suites

The ultimate private luxurious sanctuary that is in the heart of the action. The Centre Court Skyview Suites were perfect for our guests wanting to entertain on an intimate level, while enjoying gourmet delights, vintage Champagne, a private balcony and seats just a short stroll away on Centre Court.

To enjoy a day at the tennis, you have be fuelled perfectly. Renowned Isle of Wight-based Chef from the award-winning Heron restaurant, Alex Kimber, was the man for the job. Alex returned to serve our guests for a second year, delivering an elegant and innovative four-course à la carte menu to match the highest quality our guests have come to know and love.

Time for the Tennis

Now time for our top moments that took place on the court.
We were treated to an incredibly great year of tennis this year. From watching Jasmine Paolini capture the hearts of tennis fans with her infectious smile to Lorenzo Musetti smashing his way through his matches to play Djokovic in the semi-finals, and of course Andy Murray’s farewell ceremony on Centre Court - it was one for the memory books.

Barbora Krejcikova from the Czech Republic claimed her first Wimbledon title and second major career title, defeating the Italian Jasmine Paolini in three sets.
The Czech showed us what she’s made of: power, intelligent play and grit. It was a battle that was filled with entertainment.

In the Gentlemen’s singles it was the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz who retained his 2023 Wimbledon title in what was an epic rematch against the mighty Novak Djokovic. 2023 was a spell bounding match as Carlos stunned fans and gave the world something to talk about, showing he was the next big star in tennis and one to watch out for closely. One year later he did it again and at just 21 years old, he beat one of the all-time greats of the game to claim his second Wimbledon title.
