CAN YOU GIVE ME AN OVERVIEW OF THE SCHEDULE CHANGES FOR 2022?
From 2022, The Championships is planned to take place over 14 days, with the introduction of play on the Middle Sunday. As a result, there will be permanent updates made to the tournament schedule, most notably to the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ quarter-finals, which will run concurrently across the second Tuesday and Wednesday.
Additionally, the fourth round will be split between Sunday and Monday, the Mixed Doubles Final moves to Thursday, and the Ladies’ Doubles Final moves to Sunday.
The reasons for this are many. It has never been more important for sports events to be proactively taking steps to enhance their accessibility, in order to reach broader and more diverse audiences. Introducing an extra day to the schedule, on a Sunday, will enable the AELTC to do this at this important time.
It also adds greater resilience to the tournament programme. By adding the Middle Sunday, the fourth round matches can be spread over two days in line with the other Grand Slams. The AELTC have also taken the opportunity to make some additional changes to enhance the second week for competitors, guests, partners and fans around the world.
The revised provisional schedule of play is now as follows:
HOW WILL THE SCHEDULE CHANGES AFFECT HOSPITALITY PRICES?
The schedule changes will affect the ticket prices, which means prices for all hospitality packages for the Quarter-Finals will be affected, as below. All prices are per person, excluding VAT.

HOW WILL THESE CHANGES AFFECT MY HOSPITALITY BOOKING?
Any existing bookings will remain confirmed and customers do not need to take any further action.
- For customers with a booking for Tuesday 5 July, we are pleased to confirm we will honour the original price paid for hospitality and your booking will be retained.
- For customers with a booking for Wednesday 6 July, the difference in price will be held on the booker's account and a member of the team will shortly be in touch to discuss next steps.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SCHEDULE CHANGES? CAN I GET A REFUND?
As detailed on our website and documentation, the schedule of play is provisional until the order of play is released for each day of The Championships. At the time of booking, you will have agreed to our T&Cs which explains bookings are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Your account manager, or our sales team are available if you wish to discuss your booking in more detail.
