Wimbledon Ticket Frequently Asked Questions

When it comes to choosing the right ticket to suit your Wimbledon needs, we get it - it can be quite confusing! So to help you decide what’s best for you, we have put together a guide to the different types of tickets available and the fantastic hospitality packages offered at The Championships, Wimbledon.

Each year, Wimbledon attracts a worldwide audience of hundreds of millions but only a tiny percentage are privileged enough to sample the magic and excitement of one of the most prestigious Grand Slam tennis championships first-hand - this is because tickets for the event are extremely popular and sell out quickly.

Case-in-point; we, Keith Prowse - Wimbledon's Official Hospitality Partner - have sold out of their VIP Wimbledon experiences in record time in recent years, year-over-year.

We have a set allocation of tickets specifically for premium experience packages for Wimbledon 2025, including top restaurants and suites inside and outside the Wimbledon Grounds.

The Public Ballot

The majority of Centre Court, No.1 Court and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance via a public ballot. To find out dates and to sign up for the public ballot, please visit wimbledon.com

How do you buy Wimbledon tickets?

There are a number of ways to buy Wimbledon 2025 tickets; these include purchasing long term debenture seats, the UK and overseas public ballots, queuing on the day or trying to purchase tickets the day before online.

Apart from the debenture tickets, one of the only ways to guarantee a ticket for The Championships, Wimbledon on a specific day and court is to purchase through an authorised hospitality provider.

Keith Prowse has been the official provider of hospitality to The Championships, Wimbledon since 1982, and since 2019 has been the Official Hospitality Partner. Our Wimbledon experiences are available both in advance and throughout the tournament (depending on availability). We have packages to suit every budget and our 40 years of experience makes us confident you will have a truly magical day.

Where can I buy Wimbledon tickets?

There are four places where you can buy Wimbledon tickets.

We have a number of packages to suit any budget, and as well as a guaranteed ticket on a court and day of your choosing, they also include all sorts of essential and exciting extras.

You can also buy Wimbledon tickets through the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, via Wimbledon's UK and overseas Public Ballots, which is how most Centre Court, No.1 Court and No.2 Court tickets are sold. Introduced in 1924, the ballots have always been substantially oversubscribed and so entry does not guarantee a ticket.

Additionally, you can queue on the day to buy one of around 500 tickets reserved per day for Centre Court (except for the last 4 days), No.1 Court and No.2 Court, on sale at the turnstiles outside the Grounds. The Wimbledon site advises that you should begin to queue at least a few hours before the Grounds open at 9.30, with wristbands being allocated at 7.30.

Finally, if you are coming from slightly further away and would like to know in advance that you have a ticket, a small number are made available for sale the day before online.

How much do Centre Court tickets cost at Wimbledon?

If you are looking for the finest experience in tennis, then a day on Wimbledon’s Centre Court is something truly magical.

If you enter the Public Ballots - or are willing to leave it to the day before or the day of the tournament - in 2023, Wimbledon Centre Court tickets cost between £70 for the first day of The Championships up to £255 for the final Sunday, for the Gentlemen's Singles Final.

If you would prefer to guarantee a ticket for a specific court and day for Wimbledon 2025 now, Keith Prowse includes Centre Court, and No.1 Court tickets in all hospitality packages.
