How to get to the Centurion Club

June 15, 2023

Club 54

Centurion Club, situated just outside London, is putting its name on the map as one of Britain’s top golf courses. Playing host to some huge Golf tournaments, including Liv Golf London, in the stunning Hertfordshire countryside.

Of course, there are numerous options when considering how to get to the Centurion Club and depending on where you are coming from, you might want to explore a range of travel routes.

If you are travelling by…

Train

Centurion Club has rail links through St Albans City as well as Hemel Hampstead train station, which is just a short journey via car, bus or Taxi. The ThamesLink is the best way to travel from central London, this goes from St Pancras taking just over 30 minutes to travel to St Albans, followed by a 20-minute bus journey on the 302 which will take you right outside the Centurion Club. We recommend checking for trains through Trainline.com, an easy user-friendly app which offers numerous options hassle free.

When travelling South from the midlands such as Birmingham, trains bound for London Euston stop at Watford, once there, you are able to board the number 20 bus towards Boxmoor.

Car

There are many roads which lead into Centurion Club with the M1 nearby connecting those travelling by road to the Club from across the country. Shuttle buses from nearby parking will allow seamless, hassle-free access directly into the Club. The location of these will be shared closer to the tournament date.

Taking a taxi to Centurion Club is a great way when travelling with numerous guests. With a designated Taxi drop off point within the grounds of the club, it is a perfect option for those looking for door to door travel.

Bus

Shuttle buses will be running throughout the tournament to allow guests convenient travel and allowing them to get the most out of their LIV Golf experience. Normal timetabled buses will operate within the area too, however, check local travel updates to ensure that they do not have disruptions.

Air

Heathrow Airport is less than 30 miles from Centurion Club, 35-minute drive or 1 hour 30-minute journey on the bus - a great option for those travelling fans with flights across the world.

With easy access to Heathrow Central Bus Station from within the Airport, guests can take the National Express 707 to Hemel Hampstead, from their board the number 302 bus, which will then take you just a short walk away from the club.

Hopefully this has given you lots of options to explore when planning your visit to Liv Golf London this summer, of course we recommend public transport to reduce emissions and congestion around the Club but understand that this is not always a viable option for every guest.

We look forward to welcoming our guests to Centurion Club to enjoy an exciting weekend of action. Explore the experiences we have available here.
